Hi Jenni,

I sincerely hope things work out for your daughter, bless her.

At least in hospital you can also receive better pain relief. I felt less of a burden when I had my 2 recent visits to hospital.

Good luck Jenni, thinking of you

Hi Jenni - just wanted to say hope it goes ok for you and you leave hospital feeling loads better than you went in. I know it must be so hard to be patient and wait for things to improve, especially with the added worries about Gemma. When I was first expecting, an elderly lady told me that having children was like "choosing to have your heart live somewhere else outside your body and have it free to roam in the world". I didn't know what she meant then, but in the 26 years since I have come to know and feel this very deeply at times. Just wanted to say, from one Mum to another, you're amazing and stay strong but lean on everyone you can who can support.

It's nice to know I'm not the only person in the world who is up at 5am! Hope you descend from planet-land and find earth a bit more bearable! Much love, Ailsa XX

Well hello again all

Slightly more settled but look like I'm a lobster!

More methalpred tomorrow!

Only sang wwwwaaaaaao bodyform bodyform for yuuuu

And warning the cleaning man I may fart on his head as he diligently washed under my bed!

Well it was entertaining! Mega news is that I have been graced by celebrity at last, nice old lady in corner picked up by her daughter this evening- the one and only Charlie dimmock!!

Wooooow!

Gemma is safely back in her special school unit. Very concerned that she might be on a testing period now because she's absconded quite a few times and been frightened.

I just don't want her to have to go into a secure unit, I realise she may well have to but she doesnt understand, she's an enormous toddler emotionally and she doesn't grasp what she is doing then it's too late

I did have a lively chat to her this evening which was just special. Talking about Christmas and that she liked my little pony
Bless!
**sigh** for a few minutes she was mine again
That diamond glinting in the murky complex sea glinted at me!

**sigh**

So pleased that Gemma is back at school and that you were able to have a conversation with her.

Hope the steroids kick in soon.
